The build quality and features are excellent at this price point. I love everything about it. My main concern was how the pickups would sound and I am very pleasantly surprised. You can get a classic metal tone but the pickups shine when you turn up the gain. Whether it's a heavy doom metal tone from the neck pickup or a straight up modern metal sound from the bridge it definitely suits my needs. I was also surprised how no matter how much gain you're using the sound cleans right up by just backing off the volume slightly. the neck feels great and the finish is beautiful. My only small issue would be that it doesn't have locking tuners but at this price that's to be expected. The tuners it does have do the job quite well so if I there's no need to change them except to make changing strings quicker. This is my first Chapman guitar but definitely won't be my last.

This is a great guitar. Best fret work of any guitar out of the 100s I've owned over the years. Once setup, it plays and sounds fantastic.Initially, there was a shipping problem, but zZounds Customer Service solved that in the blink of an eye (if you get the right rep).Could not be happier.....

First of all - thank you zZounds for your great deals ! Surprised of the build for this price range , solid construction. There could have been more attention to frets - they do have sprouts , are a little rough , easy to fix , but still very playable. Neck is good and I don’t think it’s chunky as some say , depends on what you are use to playing I guess ? The Red Sea color is better than pictured and the dark Ebony neck with the reverse headstock really makes this an eye catcher , a little darker sounding pickups - which I like , what else do you need but to get it and play it ? Not disappointed in the purchase.

I'll start by saying it's definitely a beautiful sounding and looking guitar. Now for the REST of the story. Upon closer inspection it looks like the frets were installed by a complete beginner, who then tried to fix all the chips with the ol' ebony dust/glue "fix". Sharp frets as well. And both pickups have loose tape wrap.I've tried to love this thing but 2.5 outta 5 is generous

Really nice looking guitar! Now I will explain this guitar. Don`t let the Tele body shape fool you. It isn`t a Tele. I will explain my experience then I will tell how I came up with it. First off I`ve been playing for over 40 years. I like hardtails. I have a Strat that was a limited run of 250 for a music store. It is a 1954 re-issue. It came out in 03 for 04. Wonderful neck profile. Okay back to this guitar. The Bridge Humbucker has a unique voicing. Played Zep`s Rock and Roll-Yuck! Played Hells Bells-Yuck. Played some Ozzy with Randy-Better but not quite there plus this is a hardtail no Floyd Rose. Okay play Bad to the Bone-Nailed it! Cat Scratch Fever-Close! Accept - Balls to the Wall-Nailed it! Okay I am a speed player. This neck is like a large C profile with a wide FretBoard. For me these are not easy to play. But this is a decently made guitar. So I played it for about an hour while wondering where have I played this guitar before? Did I own a similar guitar? Then it came to me. Over a decade ago I owned a Schecter. It was a 7 string Schecter. Same neck profile. So anyhow I am going to keep the guitar. It stays in tune decent. The setup it came with is off. But that is no big deal. I like my strings very low to the fretboard. If this had the same profile as my Strat Re-Issue? For me it would be perfect. So whoever Love Schecter? And I know many do. This is your guitar. And the push pull pot does virtually nothing. If I were blindfolded and somebody handed me this guitar to play? I would guess it was a mid 90`s Korean made guitar. With a Schecter neck. At this price point I am happy with it. I can modify it to be like anything I want. If you are a new guitar player? A beefy wide neck may not be a good place to start off with? So it is a decent guitar. I just prefer slim fast necks.
