Both guitars I received from zZounds had obvious damage and quality issues. These are manufactured in a South Korean plant with poor quality and low attention to detail. Higher cost Fender brand guitars have an extremely bad reputation for low quality, and this Charvel is no different. I was excited to see this set of features made available in a factory guitar, but I won’t be giving Charvel another go after back to back damaged and poorly assembled guitars. I expected zZounds to thoroughly inspect the second guitar before shipping, as my first experience was so bad. What’s most disturbing is that organizationally, Fender does not care about resolving fundamental issues with manufacturing. Should have just bought an Ibanez from a top-tier dealer.
