Excellent . The guitar itself is very comfortable. Thinner neck , yes . Very close to the “speed neck” or its a speed neck Charvel offers . The Floyd rose is a “1500” , its a floyd rose special with upgrades . I have the same exact tremolo on my schecter PT FR . They are real good but not Korean 1000 or Orignal smooth but id take floyd 1500 over a lot of after market “license by” any day . The ebony board is thick and bright sounding , the body looks like a soloist/Dinky style. Im really happy with the guitar . It required a lil set up , tremolo needed to be leveled , action lowered , re tune . Not much really the Seymour JB gives it that “squish” compression . The sustain on this guitar is pretty amazing, its almost comparable to my Dinky Swamp Ash Jackson , pretty impressive. The frets are jumbo not the hige super jumbos . No over hanging tangs , smooth up and down the sides of the neck . The input jack is on the bottom not in the back like a DK24 . The new neck heel is so dam comfortable. I hate the old block style neck heels . Overall im glad i got one . My style !

I can't find one flaw on this guitar. I did not have to adjust anything. There is not one thing I didn't like and I have been going through guitars for 45 yrs. This is a first.

I was seriously angry over first guitar I was sent.Every single fret on it was sprouting so bad I had cuts all over my fretting hand.Worst fret sprout I had ever seen ,was even sharp spots on top of the frets ,the neck was badly bowed. zZounds took their time ,but had someone inspect the replacement and had to go through a couple of them as all had issues apparently.The one they sent me I was worried about .I let it acclimate and honestly was not looking foward to taking it out of the case.I expected issues ,but got a killer guitar.It needs a setup ,but this guitar plays better,doesn’t have the fret issues,is lighter and has a thinner neck.Loving this guitar.I want another one already

I was really excited about this Charvel Promod Plus ,but when I discovered it was coming out of zZounds Reno warehouse I was expecting a dud and got one.Twisted neck,have so many cuts all over me from trying to play it now I can’t play guitar at all.Everysingle fret on the guitar is sprouted on both sides ,some frets sharp on top of the fret.Loose and un even frets.Bad tooling marks on the fretboard and crack in the fingerboard.Fender has really ran the Charvel name into the toilet.Gonna send it back and if the replacement is better I will edit my review a little.I want to love it ,but this guitar has the very worst fretwork I have ever seen in my life
