I've been shredding on Ibanez guitars for a long time and wanted to try something different that was a little more of a Fender style and was immediately inspired by the legend himself so I picked up this Rick Graham signature guitar. This looks great in the pictures but is WOW in person. The immediate feel is how incredibly light (in weight) because of the roasted/caramelized maple neck. The radius is an absolute joy to shred on !! The pickup selectors on the HSS configuration is a bit different than what I'm used to but it's a tonal adventure from bridge humbucker shredding to bluesy SRV feels when on the single neck coil and all else in between. It's not a double locking trem system that I love to use but that's ok, still has a GOTOH bridge with a screw in arm for all of the whammy goodness. The GOTOH locking tuners is one of my favorite parts of any guitar because changing strings is much easier than without it. The input jack is neatly located on the back side and also angled. Not sure what else to say except I still can't play like Rick Graham after an entire year of having owned this adaptable shred machine ! I guess that Rick Graham legato skill set is sold separately!! Lemme know when it becomes available zZounds !!!
