Recently bought my first modeler (Fractal FM9) & wanted to play through something other than my studio monitors. Tried a couple of options that led to disappointment, but this Celestion F12-X200 ended my search. Loaded this into a partially open back 1x12 cab & it sounds great. All the presets I had dialed in for my monitors sound equally good through this speaker, without having to tweak any EQ settings. While it sounds better at loud volumes, it also sounds good & clear at lower volumes. Hard to describe, but it does feel like you're playing through a typical guitar cab, not a full range speaker. Highly recommended!

It might technically be 200 watts, but it breaks up and gives out at volumes that wouldn’t be able to keep up with a band in a live setting. My 60 watt vintage 30 can get uncomfortably loud before it breaks up when using it with the same power amp. It also just doesn’t sound amazing compared to other FRFR speakers I’ve tried. It works fine as a bedroom practice speaker. Not worth the price.
