I bought this kit as my gigging kit so I would not have to break down my kit I use in church or the studio.I own a PDP CX Maple Silver Sparkle, DDRUM Tequila Fade Pocket Maple Kit(Studio) and was looking to add Birch to my arsenal.Crush Drums, you hit a HOME RUN with the Chameleon Birch.
Sound
I was blown away by the stock pin stripe heads that came with my set.The drums tuned up easily and fine tune well with moon gels.
Features
I was impressed by the lugs and tom suspension, exactly the kit I was looking for.Attention to detail and jaw dropping looks and the interior wood finish on the shells was top of the line.
Ease of Use
The kit was easy to assemble and the drum sizes produced rich full sound from the stock pin stripe heads.
Quality
The overall craftsmanship was impeccable ,I could see the pride that went into the production of the kit.
Value
A perfect example supporting the fact that you don't have to mortgage the house to afford a great quality kit.In my opinion,Crush Drums are the working mans drums.
