"Extreme quality for low money"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
Very nice and mild sound with details. You will hear absolutely no noise on output.
Features
Great idea with the big input knob. I like these LEDs indicating output/input singal and peaks. Classic/ASIO driver switch is also very good idea.
Ease of Use
Just plug and play! Easy ASIO driver installation. Intuitive operating.
Quality
Verys solid build quality, no criticism here.
Value
Very affordable too.
Manufacturer Support
Great support from website, helpful manual and forums, new drivers for download.

"Quite a nice little product."

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars

Verified Purchaser zZounds has verified that this reviewer purchased this specific product from us.
The marketing clearly states you can digitize records with this product. This is true - but only if you have a phono-preamp. It will not record if you just hook up your turntable to it. I have a phono-preamp so it was not a problem. But make sure you know this if you want to digitize your records.
Sound
Setting up to use the ASIO driver with the supplied Sonar LE software is not intuitive. It took a call to Cakewalk to get this done.
Features
Fine.
Ease of Use
The supplied Sonar LE software is a bit much for my purpose of digitizing old albums.
Quality
Seems to be well made.
Value
Does what you want for a good price.
Manufacturer Support
There is most definitely telephone support available for this product. Go to their website and you will find the number to call! The wait to get support was long (40+ minute) but once I got through they were very helpful and patient.

"UA-1G not good for full 96K operation."

Overall: 2.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I felt I was 'had' with this product, very deceiving Features advertising. I'm sending this back for somethin by M-Audio instead.
Sound
Sound is good.
Features
Has lots of features except full 96K IN/OUT simultaneous operation.
Ease of Use
I gave it a LOW rating because its got this stupid manual 'switch' which you need to flick time to time, very stupid for the 21st Century. Software cannot get around this its a Hardware issue.
Quality
The material of product seems very good, looks black n tough.
Value
They DONT mention on Guitar Center's website or Cakewalk's webber that this UA-1G unit CANNOT do 96K full IN/OUT operation simultaneously! Its mis-leading and seems like false advertising. I would NOT have purchased this product IF I knew about the lack in the 96K operation.
Manufacturer Support
There is NO Tele support for this product. Only Email and its slow from Cakewalk.
The Wow Factor
Its fine for 48K 24bit only.
