Like anything, it's a decent product once you muddle through the nuts and bolts....
Sound
Sounds quality is good to my inexperienced recording "ear".
Features
Haven't made sense of basic features yet, let alone extras. I'm sure they're there, but can't comment yet.
Ease of Use
Not impressed with this area. I owned Sonar version 4, which is the only reason I can muddle through basic functions at this point. Manual is the pits. They do offer a downloadable document of FAQ's and other information, but I haven't gotten through it yet.
Basic features like enabling a metronome are difficult to find and manipulate. I eventually find what I'm looking for, but come on, Sonar! Help a brother out!

Don't have much to compare it to, but it does what it's supposed to do.
