CAD GXL1200BP Small-Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser Microphone
At this price, you'll want at least two! Great on drum overheads or hi-hat, this small-diaphragm condenser has a transformerless design to reduce distortion.

Unusual for a musician I am not so good at bringing home the money so... This is a low end microphone but it works as advertised. I have no idea what high end mics of this type do to justify the price but it's done what I wanted it to - record at my house my saxophone and flute how I think they were sounding into my DAW, The mic holder for a stand was cheap but hey, for $50 at ZZounds.... The mic itself seems well made and looks good. I am satisfied. It requires phantom power as goes with a condenser mic.
