This thing really is amazing, it sounds better than any $100 -$300 mic I’ve ever tried, even a lot of much higher priced mics . I’ve sang and played into everything from an 2020 to a u87 and how this thing is only $60 blows my mind. It’s has more features and a richer fuller sound than most affordable mics and very low self noise, it’s built very solidly, has a custom shock mount and it just plane looks cool too. Considering the price it’s dumb not to have at-least one. I may buy one or two more just to have.

I have the CAD E100S, yes, that one, had it for 5 years, decided to try this one out of curiosity, was so surprised that I now like this E100Sx better. This E100Sx mic gain is hotter, more full bodied and warmer, more in your faced sound, not as silent but not by much, after all how can you beat 3.7db self noise of the E100S? One problem though, the mic suspension mount provided is terrible, transmitting every bump and taps. Overall I would say the E100Sx is incredibly amazing at $60, still amazing at $300, get it now!!! *I use a women sheer nylon sock to cover the mic, then Stedman XL to further reduce plosives, works well for pristine sound*
