"Great sound at a good price."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Very tempted to buy a spare as they seem to go out of stock regularly. I'd like to try the tremolo version....
Sound
Bright but smooth - "jangly" is overused but fairly accurate. I find it a very rich sound. I use it with a solid-state FET-based amp that claims valve-style distortion with a 1x15 cab or 2x12 cab and it sounds great.
Ease of Use
The fretboard is wider than my '73 Strat but easy enough to play even with my short fingers, with a nice low action.
Quality
Solid
Value
Excellent value.
The Wow Factor
The sound is the thing on this guitar. I like the greenburst, but it's not the main selling point. It's solidly made; probably takes more beating and in my opinion sounds as good as/better than a Rickenbacker at a fraction of the price.

"4th time I`ve bought this!"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I first borrowed and used one back in 1972 for a studio session ( the original type without the adjustable bridge ). I bought a used one in 1980 ( same type ), but sold it for the same price 2 years later. Bought a 2004 reissue circa 2009 which was a HUGE improvement regarding intonation and fret quality. Sold it for almost twice as much 3 years later. Bought a new Chinese reissue in 2021 which was appalling ( one pickup didn`t work, frets sprouting everywhere, bridge faulty ). Returned for replacement which was fine. Sold that one in 2022 for same price. Bought new one in 2023 ( black ) which is fine, and still have. So, I`m pretty familiar with the production of this model, and providing the quality control departments are awake when they pass through, should be fantastic value as there`s nothing to touch them unless you spend several times the price.

"Burns double 6 had it 2 weeks and love to play it, very happy, it is class, excellent finish and quality, what more can i say???"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

i am happy with this product but i am now thinking of collecting more, when i was young i could not afford a good guitar, i played in a band for 6 years and the first 2 guitars i played on stage i made myself, and they were good if i say so myself, but now i am older and can now afford the best, it makes me happy!!
Sound
good sound, would sound good anywhere! i have a Fender Tele U.S.A. cant compere them, but i love playing the both, they are as good as each other in different ways.
Features
well made, but no extras
Ease of Use
good sound great to play, i saw this guitar when i was 17 now i am 60 and i bought it 2 weeks ago, i waited a long time but worth it just starting to play again but its on a stand in my lounge with my U.S.A. Tele. works of art!!
Quality
no problem i cant fault it, the finish is perfect, its a green sunburst, wanted a red but not in stock, no problem this colour is nice.parts seem well made, cant
Value
when i first checked it out it was a local dealer but i got the guitar from my stockist for 80.01 cheaper
Manufacturer Support
never dealt with the company before, so i took a risk, they were very helpfull and lots of advice, not like some stockists i tried, but will do business again and now i have a Hank Marvin special on order with them.
The Wow Factor
i have always seen guitars as more than just musical instruments, thay bring pleasure to the player, the listener, and they are works of art, to be looked at and enjoyed, this guitar is a piece of art in my lounge sitting waiting to be picked up and played.

"Great value, great sound and easy to play"

Like the title says. I like Burns Tri-sonic pups. They always seem to give a nice clear clean sound with lots of useful sound options. My guitar plays beautifully and is well finished. The only thing that worries me a little is that it is pretty light for a large guitar so I'm not sure about the quality of the wood but it is keenly priced and refined so I'm not worried. Great guitar for the money.
