I purchased this after reading reviews, watching clips but of course main thing comes to how well it works in person. I found it to be great for certain effects, like 12ish string on a 6, or an added funked out bass line. There is a learning curve to teasing out what you can use it for but it's there. Nice low latency compared to others I have tried and that was one of the deciding factors. An example is using for picked rhythms on a styling of The Beatles "Rain", Gasoline Alley and others or that extra accent on an original piece. The OC 5 may not be for everyone but it works for my needs.

This pedal is kinda useless. I can see it possibly being ok for studio use but live, I simply cannot get a useful sound out of it. It is well made but the sounds are not pleasing to my ear. I regret the purchase. I am keeping it mainly because I do record a good bit and might come in useful for a weird special effect. Sorry Boss, I have a lot of your effects but not a fan of this particular one.
