I purchased this mighty but tiny speaker to amplify our iPad or laptop as a gift for my wife who has wanted a Bose product for some time. We primarily got it for when we're spending time in the kitchen, and are thrilled with its performance. It easily pairs and un-pairs from our smartphones, tablets and laptops and provides clear, warm and LOUD amplification from a package less than half the size of a cereal box.

This was my second venture into Bluetooth speakers. My first experience was with bigger, bulkier system that though sounded great, was extremely inconvenient in an office environment. All that said, this Bose SoundLink Bluetooth Speaker III is by far, way better sounding. The sound quality is unmatched and I couldn't ask for more bass in this tiny package. At 3/4 volume, the volume and bass fill up my extra-large office space more than adequately. In fact, whenever someone visits, they ALWAYS ask where the sound is coming from. When I show them my Bose, they are beyond amazed! I haven't even touched on the best part. It has a battery that will last for hours and hours at our weekly office volleyball game. Bottom line...I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER with this purchase.
