While the sound bars alone have a nice bass response this “subwoofer” adds rumble and oomph to the sound bars. I ran frequency tests on this and achieved 30hz correctly. 26hz was audible but definitely phased out. Bass seems loud and distortion free. Wireless connection to the soundbar is fine however you can use a 3.5mm male to male cable to connect this directly to the soundbar. Which is a nice option.
