I have a pair of 880 open backs for editing and they really impressed me as far as precision, so when it came time for a new set of headphones for recording and mixing this was where I went. Beyerdynamics does not disappoint! The 770 Pro X are an amazing light weight set for mixing. They produce a nice clean and clear sound that is on point and the eq curve is dead on. Mind you, these are not for 'listening enjoyment'. They are a work horse for the studio, and a beneficial tool for any audio engineer. I'm going to end up getting a couple more sets for various stations in my studio.
