This mic can't be beat for the price! I originally purchased it to use as just a speaking mic for my DJ service. But after using it in live performances with our Soul Band, I was extremely impressed. I AB'd it to my $100 plus Sennheiser 835S, and the sound man told me that I should ask for a refund on the Sennheiser... and this Sennheiser is no slouch!
Sound
The sound/price ratio is unbelievable. I use it as a vocal mic in a fairly loud soul band. The high frequencies sound terrific and the entire sound is crystal clear. I loaned the mic to our lead female vocalist one night, and she bought the mic from me at the end of the performance. She loved it! She retired her Shure SM57 for this mic!!
Features
This mic has an on/off switch and has excellent feedback suppression. Behringer even had the nerve to include a hardshell case at this price! WOW!
Quality
Well, at this price, you can't expect the best... however, I was quite surprised with its factory quality and cosmetics. It is solidly built.
Value
Here is where this mic takes first prize. I sold my first one to our lead female vocalist, but then I bought two more for the band and two more for me. At this price, one could own an arsenal of terrific vocal mics.
