"Best in class"
I started out in music almost fifty years ago. My first PA system was only 60 Watts, weighed three times what this weighs, and took up four times the storage space.I've owned one of these for almost four years and have not regretted it.It is a workhorse and puts out great sound. I've used it in parades and to do an open mic in a church gymnasium. It puts out a lot of volume without having to push it to its limit.Pluses include: 3-band EQ on each channel strip and 7-band master EQ.It also uses faders instead of knobs for adjusting the volume and has separate faders for balancing the sound between the left and right channels. It also has Behringer's FBQ circuit for locating feedback frequencies before they become a problem. Can use mic stands to mount the speakers.Minuses: no pan/balance or pre-amp gain controls on the channel strips. Only two mic channels. Nothing in the owner's manual telling what each FX setting is. Although this comes with a USB input for Ultralink wireless mics on channels 1 and 2, Behringer only makes these mics in a handheld version and has refused to even consider making headset mics for these. So, while touting this as perfect for presentations or using to lead exercise classes, Behringer has steadfastly refused to take the next step to make this even better for those applications.Another minus is the included speaker cables are only 12-feet and are not very durable. I swapped these out for some 15-foot ones which work better.Note: although it only has two mic inputs, I run a Behringer Xenyx 1002B mixer through channels 4/5 [the only stereo channel]--which gives me up to five additional mic inputs, plus pre-amp gain on those mics, as well as
