"Bargain"

I bought this - more for a laugh than anything - expecting it to sound awful and break as soon as I looked at it, but it was cheap. First surprise was the sound. It didn't sound awful, it sounded pretty good! So much so, I asked my mate to bring his Boss CE-5 for a head to head. Eyes closed, honestly, neither of us could tell the difference between the two. I'm convinced this is a clone of the Boss in a plastic box. Second surprise was its durability. It's in a plastic box with a flimsy looking switch and didn't expect it to last long, and yet here we are, having gigged it in a weekly pub jam session as part of the house band, two years on and STILL it works. This really has to be something of a bargain. It's quiet with no hiss, or pops when switching. If it does eventually break, I'll just buy another.

If it wears out I expect to upgrade to a higher quality. This not a pedal that will be in continual use at this point.
Sound
Nice tone, doesn't seem to color the amp/guitar tones. Good chorusing effect. Using this in conjunction with various pedals.
Features
No acc. included
Ease of Use
The a/c adapter connection is on the right side of pedal which "feels" somewhat awkward.
Quality
Take it for what it is a plastic housing. But that helps keep cost down. I'll have no issues in that respect as I take very good care of my pedals. Control knobs do not of course seem to have the same "feel" as higher quality pedals. Although it is doing exactly as I need and hoped. I general do not purchase an effect unheard. I did in this case and I am very happy with the purchase.
Value
Pricing is good
Manufacturer Support
No contact before
The Wow Factor
Typical "stomp box" design. It's yellow color is unique....
