I play a lot of blues, some jazz, more rock and some country. The pedal sounds better in person than any of the demos I listened to on the internet. Adding fills or getting to the "b" section of a song is easy and stays in time effortlessly. If you need a simple practice tool this is great. If you are looking to use a drum pedal for gigging, the full size Beatbuddy is likelier to be way easier to call up the beats you need in a timely manner. I love how straightforward most of the beats are; very natural and not pretentious for the most part. It would be nice to turn off the intro/outro bars as they are a bit too ornamented. Not a big issue for practice, but just mentioning it. Overall a very good tool for a very good price.Bought mine at zZounds.com and received it in a day and a half with free shipping! Thanks zZounds!

This little box is amazing I'm using it for a small recording project. It sounds incredible So far I have used it on Ballads , Country & Rock songs, For the CD. I love it can't say it enough. Best part about it, unlike real Drummers it's never late for practice LOL The drum kit sounds real. I run it of my acoustic amp.

I only play Blues and rock on Cigar box guitars and the BeatBuddy sounds great.
Others say it sound as if I have a drummer in my room with me and there is more styles of drums then you would believe.
I seen a lot of demos on the big beatbuddy and it seem to be a little complicated to use but the mini is so easy and so awesome.
