I always go back and forth with the Yamaha ns10's but this time after selling my own pair a couple years ago I decided to repurchase them but this time I found a really great pair in a pro commercial recording studio so when I went to pick them up I tried them out on a pro studio environment and they were hooked up to a bryston 4b amp and they sounded like the great mid forward detail that these speakers are meant for now why the back story because this time I wanted to get that clear mid forward ns10 sound and multiple studio owners always told me that you get that with a bryston amp but a good studio owner buddy of mine said to give the Avantone CLA200 a shot that they will sound just like it were hooked up to a bryston amp and will give the ns10's the power and clarity that they need well let me tell you after listening to them myself with the bryston amp at the commercial studio where I purchased them I knew what they sounded like so I went ahead and purchased the Avanton CLA200 and hooked everything up and when I opened up a session that was ready to be mixed BOOOM there it was the same clear mid forward image that these classics spit out they're not for everyone but if you're in the market for a pair this amp will take care of business and wont disappoint. hope this review helps someone that might be in that situation on deciding if this amp works well with the ns10's.
