It performs very well and were I to replace My microphones I would buy the ATM25 again and in fact I would probably repalce my AKG D112 with one
Sound
A great sounding Large Diaphragm mic - I selected this Mic out of a bunch I was auditioning for use on Floor tom (much to my surprise as I formerly had not heard an Audio technica dynamic mic I liked) it was definately the richest tone out of the Mics I was trying at the time - Sorry I do not remember the other Mics I was trying

I had expected the Mic stand - mount to be nuisance but it nice not having to find a Mic clip whenever you want to use it ...
Quality
Good Solid body - I have had mine for a few years now and it seems to be holding up well
Value
These are quite reasonably priced and at the Time I auditioned the Mic it was one of the cheaper ones on offer
