Have used Technics direct-drive turntables forever so ordering this belt-drive unit was a departure for us. Setup was straight forward and easy. The feet have a lot of travel so balancing the plinth is no problem. The carbon fiber tonearm is a welcome touch. At this price point the included stylus/cartridge is adequate. The Bluetooth works well but does not have the same depth of sound to my ears as the internal preamp. Had to adjust a speaker placement in the room in order to kill feedback at higher volume. The unit is very light and will require some sort of isolation to limit vibration. But it’s a looker. Even from across the room it has a presence. For the price it’s a good offering from Audio Technica.
