I grew up on the legendary 1200s. Nuff said… it took me a few weeks to realize my purchase of the AT-1240s.I sat my son and grandson down in front of these and I stated. “Son, … Grandson… These two pieces of art will be worth much more than I paid for then in the future, by then I’ll be to old and frail to defend myself so never let anyone near these”

In my humble opinion, these are the best super OEMs you can buy. They look great, have great torque and all the features you could want like 78rpm, Reverse, and Ultrapitch. They also have where you can adjust the start and brake time. These are the only super OEMs being sold now, to my knowledge, that include a dust cover, headshell, and cart with the deck. I have two of them connected to a Reloop Flux Serato Interface and Ecler Nuo 2.0 mixer and they work great. You won't be disappointed with these. Rather than spend over $1k on a Technics with less features and power, do yourself a favor and don't be a sucker for brand names. If you swear by Technics, more power to you, but I guarantee you won't be disappointed with these decks in the slightest!

Bought this to replace audio technical from Walmart. This 1240 is amazing the bass is deep mids and treble are spot on, easy to set up.i will miss the auto start, stop of the one from walmart.
Sound
The sound was surprising to me sounds great bass is tight mids and highs are dead on.
Features
The lights are a plus, wish it had auto start and return as I fall asleep while listening.
Ease of Use
It's easy to set up fits perfect with my system. No problem hooking it up to my Marantz 8015 receiver.
Quality
All I do is listen to records I don't use the reverse, scratch and all that dj stuff, just need a quality sound and a good price. This does that and moore.
Value
Absolutely yes, just the sound quality is worth the 599.00 I paid for it

No need to sell you the Brooklyn Bridge! Plain and simple, I found a diamond in a gold mine! Reminds me of the Stanton t150, just much lighter and a touch smoother. I challenge any DJ looking to buy a pair of turntables to try these out, before spending $7/800 on any other pair. You and your pockets will thank me!
