I upgraded from the Rockit 8s in my studio to the Kali IN8s. I was very impressed with them.So when my old BX8s went out, M-audio would not sell parts to fix anything. I went with the IN5s.To be completely honest.Think they may be more balanced than the IN8s even.I haven't done a side-by-side test, so it's hard to really know. As it only takes a few seconds for audio memory to be lost by your ear.All I can really say is my mastering at home versus at the studio end up sounding a little better to me.
