Played well out the box. It's super lite and has fantastic Percussion. That's the good news. Bad news. The nut is sub par and the strings catch when tuning. There's some subtle cosmetic imperfections on mine.but if you have the skill to replace the nut and maybe do some fret work. It's an out standing guitar for the price. All things considered

This guitar is a perfect size for travel. It is very easy to play and looks awesome. The sound was a little thin and weak out of the box but after about 60 hours hooked up to my tone traveler and it has opened up nicely. Now it has very good projection and clarity across the spectrum. This is now a very good playing, looking and sounding instrument. For the money you can't go wrong with it. If you are willing to either give it a good bit of play time or use the tone traveler like I did, it will only get better. And the electronics on this beauty are top notch for the price range.
