I have an Alvarez Yairi CY-116, but I wanted an Acoustic-Electric nylon string with a spruce top that I could use to learn Flamenco guitar. I bought this guitar "blemished." There were absolutely no blemishes on it. I recently took it to a very experienced, knowledgeable luthier I trust. He added a tap plate and changed strings for me. He said he didn't need to to anything else to the guitar. He told me that this was the best classical guitar he's heard in a long time. I am very happy with this guitar.

I really enjoy this guitar. It has a really nice sound with the laminated rosewood and solid spruce top. The playability is almost like a steel string as regards the action and the smaller nut width. 22 frets , a cutaway, electronics, and a bevel arm rest. To me it has a regal appearance and has been a joy to play. I'd also like to thank the associates that helped with this purchase. Especially Bella, who when i had an issue fixed it straight away. Great customer service.

Returned mine after the G tuner broke. Just stripped out. No side fret marker dots so with 14 frets gets a bit confusing. Other than those two flaws, an attractive instrument.
