For less than $500 this axe has really good projection and a good fast neck. The only thing that would be nice is if it had Grover tuners. Otherwise a great choice for someone like me who is on a budget but wants quality. This one delivers. My Guild d125 however costs about the same and is a little bit better sounding. But this one looks great with the highlighted abalone on the top. It rings out and is loud. I like this guitar and am glad that I bought it. I plan on recording with it and for what I paid for it will not worry about gigging with it like I would my more expensive guitars. I have used sound hold pickups with it and it works fine i.e Bill Lawrence and my Woody. I use it with a ART preamp DI box that has a tube amp output. Either sounds great with this guitar. I am going to order a double pickguard for 15 bucks for it and give it the GIBSON look.....not quite a Gibson but about 80% of the should for 1/3 the cost. believe the projection was better than an all wood guitar I used to have.

This is one good looking guitar! The burst with the pearle trim, rosewood back and sides, rosewood bridge, rosewooid vaneer headstock with poearl logo just stands out. Its got a fast comphortible neck with gooid action makes it a great player but the sound is what makes the guitar. Great projection and build quality makes it a bargain at under 500 us dollars. I would recomend and buy one again.
