This keytar sends MIDI wirelessly to a USB dongle, so you can rock software synths on stage -- and steal the show with its MIDI-assignable accelerometer.

I love this thing. I use it for live, especially when the stage is tiny. I plug the USB dongle into an extension usb to a powered usb hub - then into a Windows tablet. I run Sonar to route the midi back out to my Korg Micro station (via USB).
The biggest drawback is the strap is too short, plus the strap kept coming undone and I would drop the unit (bad). I put strap locking things on it, and once I got a longer strap, the angle of my right hand was more ergonomic to play. I tend not to use the Accelerometer setting much; once it was set to key change and that wasn't pretty.

"Works good for a Midi Controller"

If you can't play your keys without looking at them, then you'll find yourself with a neck ache looking down to see what you are playing...The playing position is vertical, not horizontal like a piano...I quickly figured out that I can't play in a vertical position so got a Yamaha MX 61 Synth, to play on stage instead....But you can lay it on the table and connect it to your synth and practice or use it to record with...Key action is not nearly as nice as the Yamaha Synth, but t works as intended as an inexpensive MIDI Controller...
