I use this amp with an e-kit most of the time, but I have also had to use it as a PA speaker for a cross counry race. I ran the amp off of a small generator and set it up on a speaker stand. We ran a playlist on it via bluetooth all day and never had any issues with connection. The sound came through clear. We also used a cordless mic for announcements and that also went just as well. What really surprised me is that while I was monitorint the 5K course I had to go a little over half a mile across the park...and I could still hear the music playing on the Strike Amp. For me that was the most impressive. This amp isn't large in size compared to most PA speakers, but the sound you get from it is huge. Definitely a solid piece to add if you are looking for a quality amp for your electronic drums.

I have had this Strike 8 amp for over a year now and it goes well beyond anything I would need it for. I got it to sue with a Strike Pro SE drum kit, and it certainly delivers. There is no delay in bluetooth conenctions. the sound is clear even at the louder volumes. It picks up the highs and lows just like any high dollar amp would. You won't find a better 2000W amp for this price.
