Great Hammer action keys. A lot more options then expected.Very good appearance with better then average on board speakers. I’ve been playing for a couple of years and this was the upgrade I needed. The action and feel is just like a upright acoustic.

$350? Yamaha better start looking over their shoulder. THEY don't have a piano in this price range. Simply, this piano looks good, has good feel, and sounds good. I like to play it. I like to play the hell out of it. It's a fun piano. $350. I like it.

I been playing my Alesis Recital Pro everyday for 6 months straight. Figured I’d share my pros and cons of the board. Pros: 1. The price is very affordable. It’s probably the cheapest fully weight 88 key digital piano on the market. 2. Built in speakers. I never thought I’d care so much but now I need built in speakers on every board. It’s nice to just turn your keyboard on and play. No need to hook up amps. 3. Built in metronome. I know it doesn’t sound like much but there are some boards that don’t have them or they have very difficult menus to access the metronome. This is really easy to use. Cons:1. It doesn’t sound good. The only sounds that are useable are the piano and bright piano. That is it. I think it includes 12 sounds? So 2 out of 12 are good. Also the pianos sound very vintage maybe these are all samples from the nano piano? Sounds pretty similar. Definitely doesn’t sound like an acoustic grand piano. 2. Doesn’t have standard 5 pin midi. That would make this board so much better. 3. The keys feel hollow. I made a mistake of playing a few higher end boards and notice this recital pro keys feel kinda hollow. They are weighted and nothing is wrong them but if you press you finger nail against the key it will feel hollow. Keys can also be slippery at times. Overall for the price you still can’t beat it. I like to think of it as a midi controller with built in speakers and sounds. If you think it that way it’s great. If you’re a beginner or want a practice board this is definitely one to considered. I’d buy another to practice on. If you need a board to perform with I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re going to use it as a midi controller.
