There ARE good Q-cards - vintage keys and vintage synths are both great. I'm hoping the Classical Piano one is good too - I'll be buying one soon. But THIS ine just doesn't cut it. Your mileage may vary.
Sound
Some interesting sounds, but little of value in a liturgical environment. The pipe organ sounds were particularly unconvincing. There may be a church where this kind of stuff is of value - but not any church I ever worked in.
Features
A big variety of sounds to choose from, and all tweakable at every level. If only the sounds were better...
Quality
No probs with this one, but we had a Classical card go south after only 18 months.
Value
It's a good price, but given the lack of useful patches, you're getting only what you pay for. Maybe not even THAT much.
Manufacturer Support
Ever since Numark took over, the support policy has absolutely sucked.
The Wow Factor
After I left my church job (where I DID use the card), I found one of these used for $15 and snatched it up. Still haven't used it though.
