I've been wanting to try some guitar amp software but didn't want to spend a lot without trying it first. This was perfect to get my feet wet. For the price of an average guitar cable I got a way to plug my guitar into my computer and try some amp sims. The software has a couple of amps (Marshall Plexi and Fender blackface) with a few different effects. It sounds good, but limited. At least you can try it and see if it's for you. The controls work and it's fun to play with. It's a good tease to make you want to upgrade to the full version of Guitar Rig (and I think I will). The cable is 16 feet long and has very little noise when plugged in. It was a lot cheaper than buying a usb interface. I won't replace my beloved tube amps but it has it's place and it's worth the twenty bucks.
