Sounds great and is very easy to use. I have next to no frequency problems in all my gigs with it in the NYC area. I've had no cross interference with other wireless units in the room and it gives me the option of using the attachment on either a handheld, or, as I now use it, on the belt pack of my headset mic. (I do both vocal and drum/vocal gigs.) The downside is the soldering of and the battery cover on the dongle. It comes off if bumped hard. So, don't bang it into anything!
Sound
Sounds just as good as my mic, if not better because the AKG adds a bit of life to the mic.
Features
The product has a charger, which I purchased, but don't use as the batteries last quite a while. (At least two gigs which is about 6-8 hours of on-time).
Quality
I had to mess with the dongle a bit. It seems to have shoddy soldering, but, nothing that can't be corrected by hand. (Lots of entry level stuff have quality control issues like this.) The product, IMO, is well worth it even with this problem
Value
This product is WELL worth the money. Sounds great and is very easy to use. I have next to no frequency problems in all my gigs with it in the NYC area. I've had no cross interference with other wireless units in the room and it gives me the option of using the mic on either a handheld, or, as I now use it, on the belt pack of my headset mic.
Manufacturer Support
When one of my antennas came loose and I lost it at a gig AKG were very easy to deal with and the price I paid for the antenna was nothing compared to some other companies that nickel and dime you on repairs.
The Wow Factor
It's a practical addition and it works very well.
