"only buy if you have good eyesight!!!!"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars

Features
Very good idea to have this in you pocket, but I agree that it's very har to see the display. I think you'd need a lit magnifying glass. the instructions were so tiny I can't see them at all. if only they'd print them on white paper I could blow them up on my photocopier, but they are printed inside the cardboard insert. A good gadget for someone with 20 /20 vision.

Sound
This TOY is exactly that. The functionality might be great...if you could see the display!! It is WAy too small and has no backlighting. At first, I thought the batteries that came with the unit must be bad, so I spent money to buy new ones. then, i realized that something was happening on the screen...I just couldn't tell WHAT. I even tried using a large magnifying glass to attempt to use the thing...no luck. Save your money and use this online resource I found: http://www.looknohands.com/chordhouse/piano/
Value
A waste of money.

The instructions were written on the back of cardboard display insert...in 7 languages...but so tiny no human could read them.

Akai KCF1 Chord Finder Customer Review

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

it never leaves my pocket.
Features
this little thing is awesome... now all of us music illiterates can go on playing without the need to be able to read score. the 'tension' rating display-o-meter really puts a logical perspective on chords.
Ease of Use
if only it were back lit... sigh
