Let me start out by telling you I am a 30+ years audio/video tech. I have heard many 8" subs, and this one is one of the best. The only 8" I can think to compete with this is twin 8" subs in a sealed enclosure with a 1000-watt rms amp on them that we built a few years back. If you put this Sub8 is the sweet spot, it is ridiculous. I'm so glad I didn't get the 10" or the 12". Says this Sub8 is for rooms up to 20 cubic meters and my studio is 38 cubic meters and it don't matter a bit. The amp has a damping factor of 1000 or greater because woofer control in this ported enclosure is on point. I have it paired up with the Adam T8V's cut at 85Hz and sub is cut 90Hz. Very smooth transition with no gaps or overlaps. You will really feel this sub with no problem as long as it's in the sweet spot. The bass gets very low, deep and crystal clear. I am very happy and staying with Adam Audio for the foreseeable future.

"Adam Sub8 died 2 months after warranty period ended"

Overall: 2 out of 5 stars

BEWARE - My Adam Sub8 died after 5 years and 2 months of usage. The warranty is 5 years. Looks like Planned Obsolescence to me. I believe it is over priced and over rated.
