I have to start by thanking the knowledgable sales person at zZounds. I really had no idea what I wanted or needed. I sold a pair of Yamaha HS8's and a HS8 sub. Those monitors were to big and took up to much space, the sound quality was okay but nothing to write home about. After making my TRS balanced cables, I put the monitors on top of the isolation mounts my salesperson suggested. When I turned them on it was incredible. No more uncontrollable booming bass, just crystal clear sound that was amazing to both listen to and mix with. I stayed up until 4 am this morning still playing with my monitors. At nearly 60 years old, not much gets me that excited but these guys did it to me. Thank you zZounds for having quality people who are able to make educated decisions. I hope you let them know that their jobs are truly important. Without my guy's help I don't know what I would have purchased.

Let me start off by saying I never do reviews but after recieving these today i HAD to make one.I produce a lot of electronic music, hip hop, etc etc and these things are just on a whole different level. I've been a KRK fan forever, friend has Yamaha's like everytone else but I didn't think upgrading to those would be worth it. I patiently waited over a year until i started looking around and doing research on new monitors. Saw nothing but good from these ones and i'm so damn glad i got these.OUT OF THE BOX; My small room is NOT treated, I haven't touched any settings and these out of the box already get the hair to stand up on my arms. You really do hear and feel so many different elements with these and i want to go back just to remix all my old beats. These aren't even broken in yet and there's SO MUCH POTENTIAL IN THESE. These aren't super heavy which is nice for my wall mounts, they have such a solid quality feel. The dials on the front/back are extremely smooth and very precise...Let's not forget how insanely sexy they look as well. If you're looking for monitors under $1000/500 KEEP ON SAVING. IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT.It takes a lot for me to get excited over equipment because I usually regret it after the buy but these.....these are special. zZounds is a true miracle with the monthly payments, i cannot thank these guys enough for putting such a huge smile on my face. SAVE SAVE SAVE. Adam's are so underrated. Don't settle for less.

I’ve been recording electronic music almost 20 years as I’ve been through all of the “great for the price” monitors up to the entry level big boys and these bad boys here are the real deal. Nothing colored. Great presence in the mid field and the sub is very easy to use and properly adjust for your setup. I went from a house to an apartment and previously used the VXT6 with KRK sub 10s and to be brutally honest the difference here is staggering. The only comparable monitors I’ve heard at this range are the dynaudio bm5a series I had years ago. Buy these monitors!! zZounds pay plans are BEAST! NO INTEREST GUYS AND GALS!!!

I've used Tannoy, Focal, and Mackie HR824. Mackie was by far my favorite until I heard these! I wish I would've gotten the A8x but the clarity is UNMATCHED!!! Also the ribbon tweeter is GREAT for long mix sessions. I'll add the Adam Sub8 and the very SLIGHT loss of bass response should be more than compensated. CLEANEST monitors I've heard for under $3,000 yet!

Read many reviews and the A7X's seemed right for my needs, moving up from the Mackie HR824's that I've had since the 2000's. Just hooked them up and they sound fantastic. Super accurate. I am easily able to discern fine details in the mix. Solid bass too. I would recommend these if you are looking for high-quality studio monitors at a competitive price point.

I’ve used Rokit speakers and compared to those, these are so clear. They are so well balanced. I had my speakers against a wall and so I put sound absorption behind the speakers and once I did that it was even clearer. These are phenomenal

I've had a set of these Adam a7x's for a week. Moved on from Yamaha HS8's. My world has just changed. I was wondering why I would get lost in the world of mixing and chasing that sound.I'll save you a ton of money. If you "ain't" got good studio monitors, your always gonna think its your gears fault going down an endless rabbit hole.Bad/poor speakers are not giving you a good representation of what your recording. Your prolly missing a ton of crystal clear highs and mids. Your missing a ton of information on your sound. It wont matter what equipment you buy if it never gets through your monitors and out.Adam a7x's vs. HS8's. Night and day. At first you'll think your missing something but all you gotta do is retrain your ears to deal with how sound is really supposed to sound.My creativity is back after giving up on getting good sounds and buying endless plugins and hardware.I could have saved myself a lot of money if I realized at first that the end of your signal chain has the last say on all your work.If I had Adam a7x's 10 years ago I'd be 10 years younger today!!!!Thanks zZounds!!!

I don't actually own a pair but I've heard them and their like no other monitor I know from a sales perspective in comparison. HS8's cant compair. For the money I would recommend these as a must have before any purchase their amazing monitors for those I'd you spending your hard earned m ok ney these are worth it.
