I will always have at least two S7 in my studio mic collection.
Sound
I use the S7 to mic bass cabs, guitar cabs and drums. The sound is always full and crisp without being harsh or hissy. I mostly use it in my home studio, but I did use it last month to mic a live bass cab and it blew everyone away.
Features
The best feature of the S7 is that is can handle high SPL levels. I have had other condenser mics that just could not handle Marshall amps and Ampeg amps, but the S7 works when I record a live band.
Ease of Use
Because of its durability and design it is the easiet mic to work with. If you are new to recording, the S7 is the perfect condenser mic to start with.
Quality
Perfect manufacturing. I coudl find no flaws in my S7.
Value
I was surpised by the low street price of the S7. I think it is an amazing value. (I plan on buying another one next month.)
Manufacturer Support
Before buying the S7 I spoke with ADK's president Larry Villella and he was very helpful. He asked great questions about what I needed in a mic and recommended the S7.
The Wow Factor
Once I learned about the S7 and read reviews, I HAD TO HAVE IT. And I am not disappointed.

"A very flexible, neutral, high SPL work horse."

This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
This mic has a permanent place in my studio. I would buy another one if it ever got lost/stolen/broken.
Sound
The S7 is a smooth honest mic. It has a neutral character that responds well to good mic placement. I have used it in the studio for kick, acoustic guitar, and vocals.
Features
Well featured. The pad makes it ideal for kick drum. The roll-off helped to minimize stage rumble when micing a dobro.
Ease of Use
Put is up, turn on phantom, set the gain on the board and away you go.
Quality
Mine has been a work horse. It is always ready to go.
Value
Great bang for the buck.
Manufacturer Support
Larry Villella supports the heck out of his products.
The Wow Factor
I wouldn't call it sexy, but it is not ugly by any means.
