I'll keep this in my "studio" for a while. It's on par with the recently released Blue Spark with the ADK A-6 edging out in overall tone and build quality. This is by far the best buy I've had in a loooong time and this mic will be my primary for a while!
Sound
This is an awesome mic! First off it's a very well made product and it you won't be afraid to handle it and risk damaging it. My experience with microphones is somewhat limited, but I've used enough to make a decent comparison. Before the ADK A-6 I was using a Blue enCORE 100 in my home "studio" and it did the job fine. After switching to the ADK it became apparent that I was missing out on a lot. The clarity and sensitivity of the A-6 is top notch and I am more than pleased with my overall sound in my recordings.
