"Very nice effect"
I have the older halogen version of this fixture. It has no duty cycle. Projects a very stunning "falling water" effect on an opposite wall or screen. Colors change automatically or you can flip a toggle switch to lock on the current color (kind of unhandy when the light is mounted high).
I have also used this in conjunction with a laser light. The combined effect was awesome!

The Wow Factor
Sort of wish I didn't buy it now but I'll use it as a backdrop for the band instead of a solid wash, it's ok for that. Looks great just projects only a small 10' area or so depending on the projected distance.

The effect is cool. But requires a pretty dark environment to be effective. My only gripe is that there is no remote. Would be nice if they had a remote for on/off. You'll have to do that yourself with an extension cord and power strip or other switch.
