"A must for Ableton live users"

I would recommend the Ableton Push to anyone who uses Live , it will speed up your workflow, fast learning curve, a new way to play drums, chords, and come up with great ideals. Easy automation controls, all default mapping for live instruments and effects. Save your virtual instruments in a rack and easy recall them with ease, A new additional to my studio, Akai Push with the Akai apc40 is a great combo.

I have had Ableton since the 6th version. The new version is finally complete with the addition of Push. You can make music without knowing theory due to the onboard scale function. Making a beat, melody or a complete song is so easy. I love it.

The push controller was everything I was looking for. I club DJ, make my own music and webcast a internet radio station. The push controller has been great in all three areas. The learning curve was a little bit hard, But the more I used the controller the easier it was to use.

Musical Background:

I have been a web caster for over 10 years now. Club DJ 3 years and just getting into making my own music for about a year.

Definitely a game-changing instrument! There is a little room for improvements, but overall this thing is killer, especially if stringed instruments are more your thing rather than keyboards.

It's a great controller if you are choosing to produce. I wanted something compact instead of carrying a keyboard everywhere. I know there are very small keyboards but I love finger drumming too! The strip on the left side is for pitch shifter. It's dope I just have to keep learning how to use it. Build quality far exceeded by expectation. No worries it does not look or feel cheap at all.

Musical Style:

This thing is really impressive as far as controllers go. It definitely feels more solid than Maschine. I love the feel of the pads. They feel extremely solid. The strips and knobs are great too. I think this is more of a game changer as far as controllers go than anything out there.

The first time I discovered this product I swore, I should have made a few different purchase decisions this year. With out question I understood the language and the thought process behind the design and I knew; I must have that instrument. With that being said, you have to get one yourself to fuling understand the quality speaks for itself the design and work flow creative and push your creative dial.
