The Silvertone SDK5 Drum Set comes complete with everything you need to start rockin' as soon as you set up!

The SDK5 features precision-made 9-ply hardwood shells for great tone and accurate tuning, and heavy-duty, double braced, polished chrome stands for strength and durability. Pro features include chain drive bass drum and high-hat pedals, an extendable boom cymbal stand, height adjustable bass drum spurs, and memory locks on tom mounts and stands. And when we say everything we mean everything including a pair of 14 in. high hat cymbals, a 16 in. crash/ride cymbal, a padded drum throne, drum sticks and tuning key.

with all the stock products on it it will keep you happy for months but after that you start upgrading. I have replaced the snare, replaced the cymbal replaced the stand and I got a double bass pedal for it, muffled all the toms and the bass drum and it sounds absolutly amazing, you dont have to buy a new drum set.... all you have to do is upgrade one thing at a time the toms.. the cymbals... the bass drum etc... you will save a lot of money that way trust me I have had this thing for over 2 years

Sound
sounds great better than a lot of drum sets I have played even pearl for example. right out of the box the snare head needs to be replaced its crap... but the snare itself lasts about 8 months and its toast, but I just bought a yamaha custom snare and it sounds great with it. the tom heads are actually very good and you shouldnt have to really replace them at all if you put a ring and a sound muffle on them, Im a hard hitter and they have held up very well. of course replace the cymbal, if your a beginner then just leave it its better to wail on the cheap cymbal that does not crack like an expensive brand cymbal.

it is very easy to work with the tom heads can be a little annoying to tune because the heads are not of great expensive quality but if you tune it right… read more it will sound great. cant modify the cymbal so look forward to upgrading soon

Quality
the quality is good I personally was ok with the sound of the snare until it decided to ring whenever I hit the tom heads which was extremly annoying. if you want perfect quality buy muffles for every drum. after I put one on the bass drum it sounded amazing especially with a double bass pedal.

worth a lot more in my opinion since it sounds better than some top brands
