zZounds Gear Experts Say...
The Washburn WD10S continues the tradition of excellent, affordable acoustics. With a solid Sitka Spruce top and quartersawn bracing, the WD10S sounds great.
Overview
Featuring a fresh look, the Washburn WD10S is the next generation of the world's best selling acoustic guitar. A step up to the classic Washburn crown style bound headstock, coupled with the bridge and rosette designs, make the WD10S acoustic guitar a worthy heir to the throne. Main features are a mahogany back and sides producing a rich warm tone that is balanced out by the expertly book-matched solid spruce top, as well as the bone nut and saddle, all combine to allow the feel and sound to improve with age. Maximum affordability, sound and playability are what keep the WD10S at the top of the charts and in the hands of the everyday player year after year.

I can see myself playing this guitar for years...
Sound
I have had a Washburn D10S, a Martin G16GT, and this WD10S. The WD10S is my favorite to date. It plays nicely, it sounds great and it isn't expensive so I am not terrified to take it on the road with me to play while working. I love it!
Features
I think the fit/finish of the guitar is superb. I only wish I ahd gotten the cutaway version. I really like the new binding and the inlay on the neck and head, really attractive!
Ease of Use
Very easy to play, I have tried a few different brands of strings and I prefer Elixir, they really sound nice and last a while.
Quality
can't beat this guitar for the money, I wouldn't trade this guitar for the Martin I had.
Value
can't be beat!
Manufacturer Support
haven't had to use it, that is the best kind...
The Wow Factor
I would definitely buy another one!
