I'm a collector/player and I've also been in the past, an owner of a boutique retail guitar shop. I have owned a few thousand instruments and have played each and every one of them. In short, I know acoustics well. I purchased my guitar about a month ago and after playing it for many hours I am extremely impressed with it's playability, quality, and tone. It, in my opinion, is one hell of a guitar and I am blown away by the fact that it cost about one third of what I would have payed for the other names that I don't want to mention because I don't think they deserved to be called out by name. They make great guitars too, but not for this price. I hate the fact that this instrument was made in China but it is what it is...a great guitar. Last but not least, it is truly handsome, a real beauty. I'm gonna go play it now!!!
