The body is constructed from beautiful mahogany satin-stained alder. The guitar's neck consists of premium maple with a Rosewood fretboard. The Traveler Guitar Escape Bass has a full-sized playing surface, despite its compact dimensions (includes rugged gig bag and headphones.) Sound
I have to echo the praise of the player above....I saw his group the other night, and couldn't believe what a great sound he was getting playing ONE HANDED while also playing keyboard. Very good balance to the tone, and not tinny on the high end like some piezos I've heard. Very close to a Fender Jazz feel on the neck, and felt very solid for a 5 pound axe.
