Taylor's short scale acoustics are absolutely incredible and inspiring. Their special design (just 5/8 in. shorter than standard instruments) results in instruments with a lower string tension and closer fret spacing - it's a whole new experience. The 510L9 is a short-scale version of Taylor's premium mahogany dreadnought. The 510CELP is an acoustic electric cutaway version with Taylor's Expression System electronics. The 710L9 is an Indian rosewood dreadnought that sounds completely spectacular. Its tone and playability seem to achieve new heights, thanks to a scale length that's 5/8 of an inch shorter than a standard model. Try the 710CEL9 if you want the same magnificent rosewood instrument in an acoustic/electric - complete with a wonderful Venetian cutaway. Cases are included with all short-scale models.
