"Overlooked Gem With Amazing Tone"

Let me start off by saying that this is one of those Taylor guitars where there are only about 3 video reviews on YouTube, and most of them don't have great audio quality. I always like to hear guitars a lot before purchasing them online - and I took a chance on this one. Let me tell you, this thing is amazing. If you're torn between this and something like a 114ce, although priced the same, this blows the 114ce out of the water. It has a balanced and full tone, and it just feels more weighted. I've owned both the 114ce and 214ce, and there is really no comparison here, the 117e is the clear winner. I've gone through many acoustic guitars (Taylors, Martins, Epiphones) trying to find the right one for my recording setup - and I believe the search is finally over!Definitely recommend this guitar!
