"pretty good .... but not quite perfect"

These headphones provide decent sound quality for the discount price that I paid, but they would be far from a bargain at or near the list price. They could also use a volume control knob on the headphones. I use these as a "headphone amplifier" when playing NY electric basses with active electronics if I don't want to disturb others. For this purpose, these headphones do the job reasonably well.
