Overview
Schecter S1 Elite Electric Guitar
One of today's best looking guitars is also built to deliver the best playability and tone possible. The S1 Elite is a set-neck double cutaway with a figured maple top on its mahogany body. The neck is 3-piece mahogany with a 22-jumbo fret fingerboard and Gothic Cross inlays. Its Tone Pros bridge system strings thru the body for increased sustain and the fullest tone. Other features include Grover tuners, Duncan Design H101 pickups and abalone binding. The S1 Elite simply looks & plays like nothing else!
TonePros System II
TONEPROS feature a couple of nearly invisible setscrews that simply lock the bridge to the mounting posts. The idea is simple, but the benefits are exponential. Solidify your bridge in place like stone, and it will never fall off again! No more worrying about scratching the face of your guitar or readjusting the intonation and action after a simple cleaning or changing of strings. Your guitar will sustain and play in tune like never before. Because our bridges secure solidly in place, your intonation will be much more accurate, and stay that way!

"Look, Play, Fall in Love."
This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
This guitar is everything I need. It is the first Schecter I've owned and I'll be looking at this brand more. They have so many beautiful guitars! I'll play this one out and maybe try some of the other models they have.
Sound
With the duel Duncan made pickups, the sound is warm on all settings. I play everything from jazz to rock and this baby makes it all sound good.
Features
The features are pretty standard but they are built well and they are durable. I like the through the body neck and the pull knob that can change the tone. Especially useful when playing with a cleaner sound and you want to raise the mid tones.
Quality
This guitar is just beautiful. It is solid and made well, but just to look at it . . . like falling in love.
I haven't had it very long so I don't know how they hold up after years of play, but if feels way more solid than most guitars do new and I have a good feeling this baby will last awhile.
Value
I find this guitar very comparable to the Les Paul, but it is lighter and sounds better, in my opinion, so compared to a new Les Paul, this guitar is a steal at the price. I wouldn't be surprised if this guitar get lots of endorsements and become popular and more expensive, so get one now!

The Wow Factor
Like I said BEAUTIFUL! I can look at it all day and still be amazed at its beauty. It has a wonderful deep finish with the inlay all around. It has a classic beauty that won't fad out
