Equipped with an EMG Metal Works P pickup, you'll be turning heads with brilliant high-end articulation, warmth, incredible low end punch, and quiet operation. And with 21 extra jumbo frets across a Roasted Maple fingerboard, this bass was built for comfort and playability! The P-4 Exotic also sports a Roasted Maple neck that has been shaped to a Thin "C" profile and the bolt-on neck joint construction allows easy access to the upper frets. And to top it all off, with its beautiful Faded Vintage Sunburst finish and exquisite Zebrawood top, you'll be sure to steal the spotlight!
With a master volume control along with a 2-band EMG Active EQ, the P-4 Exotic delivers a range of sonic possibilities right to your fingertips. Rounding out the black hardware, the Schecter High Mass bridge and WSC KG400 tuners give you incredible stability that can withstand anything you can dish out.

I ordered the P-4 Exotic to see if I wanted to transition back to playing 4-string bass after 2 decades on various 5-strings. This did not disappoint.This bass has so much clarity and punch with the tone knobs at the detent/flat position. Plenty of headroom to boost or cut to taste. Playability is second to none.Looks are fantastic. Bandmates all started drooling when I pulled it from my quiver. The roasted maple neck and unique take on the block inlays set this bass apart from the pack.I played this thru a Mesa Subway 800w amp & 8x10 Ampeg cab; along with a Schecter Corsair and Ernie Ball Stingray HH. The P-4 dominated the Corsair and was a cut above the Musicman. It handled our set-list with ease. I would buy this again if the need arose.
