Master Performance Series Volume 1 has been created specifically for the Roland user who requires quality sounds for stage and studio environments. Volume 1 contains over 1,000 instrumental and percussion patches setup for the musical styles of Pop, Rock, Jazz, Country, Bluegrass, New Age, Funk, Orchestral and many others.

State of the art digital tools and recording techniques were used to craft samples with superb crossfade loops for patches that meet the high standards of professional musicians and sound engineers. Club 50 has given priority to items of detail that are important in achieving these standards of excellence. Items such as making sure that TVA and TVF envelopes are properly set, the amplitude leveling and tuning of sample, extensive multisampling, digital EQ, tone output assignments, correct patch mapping of tones, following Roland's standard for MIDI note assignment of drum tones, combining sample tones whenever possible to conserve sampling time, as well as many other items and areas of concern.
